It’s Official – Sakura 2021 Nominees

The International School Librarians of Japan have voted and there is something for everyone in the 2021 Sakura Medal line-up! Many of these books will be available on SORA to enjoy over the summer. We will continue reading these books during the 2020-21 school year and will vote for our favorites in April 2021!

Set Your Sights High! – What will your reading goal be for Sakura 2021? It’s never too early to set your Sakura Medal Reading Goal and start reading.

The ASIJ 2020 Books2Eat Challenge

This year all divisions at ASIJ will be participating in #books2eat2020!

Submit your TWO photos on this Google Form by Friday, May 22 at 4 p.m. 

  1. A closeup of the cake and the book (image can be from the book, a print out of cover, or an image on your computer or iPad)
  2. A photo of the cake or book bento and all the bakers
