This year in the ASIJ Elementary School will celebrate World Read Aloud Day on February 14th. Our theme this year is Books We Love! Thanks to a generous PTA Grant, the elementary library has 54 NEW Japanese picture books that are translations of some of the most highly circulated books written in English.
Join the Elementary Library Team and the Elementary Japanese Department on February 14th and celebrate Books We Love! in both the English and Japanese languages.
How you can participate:
Come to the library during any recess to hear a guest reader read a Books We Love!
Read aloud a book you love to a friend, classmate, or family member this Valentine’s Day!
