Upcoming Author’s Visit – Ashley Wolff
Award-winning author/illustrator Ashley Wolff will visit the ASIJ elementary school May 3-5th thanks to a generous grant from our Chofu PTA. Since the age of 5 Ashley knew that she wanted to be an artist when she grew up. She has lived her passion and has illustrated over sixty books. She is well known for the modern classic Miss Bindergarten series. While at ASIJ she will conduct both large group assemblies and small group workshops.
An exciting tradition that always accompanies an author’s visit is a book signing by the author. Signed books make great souvenirs for your child. I am writing now to provide you with the opportunity to order one of Ashley’s books. Ashley will sign purchased books during her visit.
Please respond to the Google Doc that I sent in a parent email. There will also be order forms available at the library circulation desk. Due to limited availability, orders will be placed on a first come, first serve basis. Once the order is placed, I will send you an email requesting payment. Please send the amount due in a sealed envelope. Clearly mark the envelope “Library Book Order”, child’s name and class and have your child deliver the envelope to the ES Library by Thursday, March 24, 2016.
